1. Information We Collect
When you use hiAIre, we collect:
- Account information: Name, email address, company name, and password when you create an account.
- Simulation data: All actions taken during a simulation, including chat messages with the AI assistant, deliverable content, stakeholder replies, file access patterns, and timing data.
- Scoring data: AI-generated scores, evidence, and behavioral analysis derived from simulation activity.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, browser type, and device information.
- Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the simulation and scoring platform.
- To generate AI fluency scores and assessment reports for employers.
- To improve our scoring algorithms and simulation quality.
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, and product updates.
- To prevent fraud and ensure platform security.
3. Information Sharing
We share simulation results and scores only with the employer who invited the candidate. We do not sell personal data to third parties. We may share data with:
- Employers: Simulation results, scores, and behavioral analysis for candidates they invited.
- Service providers: Firebase (hosting/auth), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI processing), Google (scoring). These providers process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality.
- Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Data Retention
Simulation data and scores are retained for the duration of the employer's active account. When an account is closed, all associated data is permanently deleted. Candidates can request deletion of their data by contacting us.
5. Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. The simulation engine is server-authoritative - sensitive data like scoring rubrics and trap instructions never leave our servers. Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth with industry-standard security practices.
6. Candidate Rights
Candidates have the right to:
- Know that they are being assessed through a simulation.
- Understand that an AI assistant is available and that their interactions are recorded.
- Request access to or deletion of their personal data.
Candidates are informed before starting a simulation that the session is timed, recorded, and scored.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email to active account holders.
