What is an AI fluency simulation?
A timed, realistic work scenario where candidates use an AI assistant to complete deliverables. We measure how they use AI - their judgment, verification, prompting quality, and output - not just whether they use it.
What roles do you support?
Currently five roles: Product Designer, Product Manager, Chief of Staff, System Architect, and Vibe Coder. Each role has 4 unique simulation scenarios, for 20 total. We're actively adding more roles - if you need one we don't cover yet, reach out at vivek@hiaire.com. Every session generates a completely unique company, data, and stakeholders - no two candidates ever see the same thing.
How long does a simulation take?
60 to 90 minutes depending on the scenario. The timer starts when the candidate clicks Begin and runs continuously. They cannot pause or restart.
What does the candidate experience look like?
A workspace with three panels: a mission brief with deliverables on the left, a writing area in the center, and an AI assistant plus stakeholder messages on the right. They also get reference materials tailored to the role and scenario - analytics data, support tickets, interview transcripts, design mockups, architecture docs, or code files. All materials are dynamically generated for each session, so no two candidates work with the same data.
Scoring & Reports
How long does scoring take?
The full scorecard is ready within minutes of the candidate finishing. No manual review needed - it's all AI-scored with evidence and message references.
Can candidates see their scores?
Currently, candidates see that their simulation is complete and that results are being reviewed. Detailed scores are visible only to the employer. We're building a candidate profile with more visibility in the future.
Integration & Process
Where does this fit in our interview process?
It's an add-on, not a replacement. Use it as a screening step before technical interviews, or after phone screens to inform your in-person conversations. The AI-generated interview questions bridge directly into your existing process.
How do I invite candidates?
From your dashboard, click Invite Candidate, choose a scenario, and enter their email. They receive a link, create an account, and start whenever they're ready. You see real-time status and get notified when they finish.
Can we use simulations across different roles?
Yes. Every plan includes all roles and all 20 scenarios. Assign candidates to whichever simulation fits their role.
Do we need to set anything up?
No. Sign up, invite a candidate, and they're running a simulation within minutes. No integrations, no configuration, no IT involvement.
Pricing & Billing
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial including 5 simulation runs. No credit card required. You get full access to all features, all roles, and complete scorecards.
What happens when my trial ends?
You'll be prompted to choose a paid plan. Your existing simulation data and scorecards are preserved. You just can't run new simulations until you upgrade.
What happens if we don't use all our simulations this month?
Unused simulations don't roll over. Plans are designed to match your typical monthly hiring volume. If you consistently use fewer, consider downgrading. If you need more, upgrade anytime.
Can we cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans cancel anytime with no commitment. You keep access through the end of your billing period. Annual plans can be cancelled but are non-refundable for the remaining term.
